The Allemande stands at the beginning of the suite: a calm, orderly progression, dignified and imbued with inner tension. It is a set of particular weight, demanding concentration, time, and the right measure – in the vineyard as well as in the cellar. This is precisely how this wine unfolds. It is the most concentrated expression of what our terroir and our experience can produce – precise, structured, and designed for longevity.
Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc form its backbone, complemented by a touch of Merlot, which lends depth and balance. Blackcurrant, graphite, and subtle spices define the aromatic profile, supported by dense, ripe tannins. The winemaking process follows the wine, not the other way around, resulting in power and length without heaviness. Only in years when everything comes together perfectly does this wine earn its place in the suite.
The Allemande is not a loud highlight, but a quiet summit: a wine of great clarity, structure and inner tension, created for long maturation and long memory.
