Stability vs. expression: a trade-off
The standard
A weighed stability decision names how much expression an intervention secures and how much it levels. It makes the price of safety visible instead of concealing it.
Criteria
- The intervention names what it stabilises against
- It names which share of the expression it touches
- Safety and expression are weighed against each other, not viewed separately
- The decision stays reasoned and names its price
Distinction
Stability vs. expression ≠ stability: one is a trade-off, the other a state. Stability vs. expression ≠ transparency: transparency shows what happened, a weighed stability decision chooses what happens.
