The texture of the Suite
Louré
The measured movement of the Suite: a Sauvignon blanc that matures long in clay amphora and belongs at the table.

A dance in which every step counts.
In Bach's third Partita for violin, the Loure follows the Preludio: a slow dance, measured and solemn, every step deliberately placed. Louré carries this character, and it holds this place among our white wines, in the middle between Intermezzo and Caprice.
It comes from a single leased parcel, almost entirely enclosed by forest, with a thin layer of humus over limestone; the grapes are picked by hand. In the cellar we let it mature for a long time in oval clay amphorae on its fine lees. The typical Sauvignon fruit steps back, leaving a white wine of texture and calm that brings Sancerre to mind rather than a Bordeaux Sauvignon.

A TRIBUTE TO TEXTURE
Louré is the texture of the Suite – a structured white wine that takes up space without being opulent: through line, tension and length.

In the glass
Ripe fruit, limestone and long lees ageing.
Louré smells of ripe yellow fruit, a touch of citrus and fine herbs. On the palate it is taut and precisely built, carried by fresh acidity, with a fine texture from its long maturation in amphora and a long finish. Before the meal it is happy to spend an hour in the decanter.

The evening for it
For a meal that takes its time.
Stuffed quail, a blanquette of veal or fish in a rich sauce: Louré calls for a dish with substance.
