Our vines grow on land that has been protected since 1975. We give back more than we take from it.
Just under twenty hectares, five of which are vines.
Of the almost twenty hectares, only five are planted with vines. The rest is springs, meadows, and old trees—a mosaic that frames the parcels and has been state-protected as a Site Classé since December 30, 1975. In such a place, one quickly understands oneself as part of a larger whole: as a guardian who passes on the estate, not as someone who consumes it.
Two certificates that say different things.
Organic · Euro-leafWhat we omit
No synthetic agents, no herbicides, no systemic sprays. The EU organic label describes what we do without in the vineyard.
HVE4 · High Environmental ValueWhat we do actively
The highest level of the French environmental certificate, awarded in an external audit on biodiversity, water, and soil life. Even copper input, otherwise a sore point in viticulture, demonstrably remains low in our case.

Hedges & Flower Strips
Buffer zones and wild verges act like an immune system for the vineyard.
Permanent vegetation
Greenery grows between the rows all year round — for living soil instead of bare earth.
Bee colonies
Honey as a delicate indicator for the purity of its surroundings — laboratory-tested externally, with no detectable residues. From this, Miel des Vignes was born.
Fountains & Ponds
They belong to the area; we maintain their condition and intervene as little as possible.
Sheep (in preparation)
In the future, sheep are to graze among vines and meadows - grazing and fertilizer in a natural cycle.
What returns when you let go.
Whether a farm is in balance is shown less by certificates and more by what returns. Fire salamanders live by the springs, hoopoes nest in the old trees, rare butterfly species fly over the meadows; lavender, in several varieties, blooms along the roadsides. Such things only settle where the environment is right.

What does HVE4 mean?
HVE stands for Haute Valeur Environnementale, the highest level (4) of the French state environmental certificate. It is awarded after an external audit and examines three areas: biodiversity, water management, and soil life. Unlike a pure organic label, HVE4 considers the entire farm as an ecosystem—not just the avoidance of certain substances.
Why organic and HVE4 - isn't one enough?
Both describe different things. Organic (Euro-leaf) excludes synthetic and systemic agents – it states what we don't do. HVE4 assesses what we actively do for biodiversity, water, and soil. Only together do they provide a complete picture of the work on a Site-Classé property.
Why do you keep bees?
The bee colonies are also a kind of laboratory assistants for us: honey is a sensitive indicator of the purity of the environment. What the bees collect tells us something about the condition of hedges, meadows and vines. From this, a small production of its own, Miel des Vignes, was created.
A living soil creates a living wine. Both require the same patience.
