The people of the Domaine
It is a Domaine whose character arises from the interplay of people, attitude and precision.
This page does not describe résumés or roles in detail.
It makes visible who carries the direction –
and how responsibility, culture and consistency are anchored in the daily life of the Domaine.
The core responsibility
Marc Ruhland
Structure, precision & directionMarc Ruhland is responsible for the strategic direction of the Domaine,
its inner logic and its long-term consistency.
His task is to create the conditions in which precision becomes possible –
in the vineyard, in the ageing and in dialogue with the people who work here.
He sees leadership not as control, but as a responsibility for clarity:
processes, decisions and priorities should serve the expression –
not stand in its way.
Ellen Ruhland
Culture, music & perceptionEllen Ruhland shapes the cultural framework of the Domaine.
She is responsible for the connection of wine, music and space –
and for translating structure into sensory experience.
She sees culture not as staging, but as an attitude:
she creates contexts in which concentration, listening and openness become possible –
for the team as much as for guests and young talents.
Putting it into practice in the daily life of the Domaine
The daily realisation of this responsibility lies in the hands of an interdisciplinary team
drawn from vineyard, cellar, technology and administration.
Each role helps ensure that attitude does not remain abstract,
but becomes visible in the detail – from the vine to the glass.
and give the work precedence.
