LaSuite aux Conseillans

Bordeaux, who is given time.

LaSuite aux Conseillans

A small family winery on the outskirts of the city — each wine bears the name of a musical movement.

Just released
Saraband2015

Over ten years in the cellar before the first bottle leaves the estate. Dark cherry, a hint of cedarwood, a long, calm finish.

Here, wine grows up with music.
Wine & Music

Here, wine grows up with music.

Classical music resonates through the vineyards all year round. Ellen, a concert pianist, has assigned a piece of music to each cuvée. And we invite young musicians to perform concerts at the estate — supported by the Fonds aux Conseillans.

The Estate

A haven at the gates of Bordeaux.

Vines, meadows, woods and a small stream. Five hectares, which we harvest plot by plot by hand — with the patience of a family estate.

Bees, deer, a stream in the forest. What grows here, grows in peace — and with its own ecological commitment.

Time

We're waiting until the wine is ready.

A good Bordeaux needs years to mature. We store the vintages in our own cellar until they are ready. We do the waiting for you.

The fermata.

The sign of holding a note – for as long as it wants to sound. This is also how we treat our wines.

Origin

Coined by a co-founder of modern oenology.

For decades, the Domaine was the winery of Jean Ribéreau-Gayon, one of the key founders of modern oenology. He shaped it — and his legacy continues to influence every decision to this day, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

"You can tell from the first sip that no one here was in a hurry."
