Intervention limit: correction or construction

The standard

A set intervention limit names which operations an estate permits and which it does not, and so makes verifiable where, for it, supporting ends and replacing begins.

Criteria

• The permitted and the excluded interventions are named
• The limit is justified, not merely asserted
• It is fixed before the harvest, not applied retroactively per vintage
• It distinguishes supporting what is there from replacing it
