Of course, great wine is teamwork, what else would you expect?
From vine to glass, quality arises where craftsmanship, experience, and attitude intertwine – like voices in a suite. Our team combines agronomic precision, quiet care in the chai, clear processes, and a cultural approach where wine and music listen to each other.
This is how the tranquility and depth you find in our wines are created.

Marc Ruhland – Propriétaire & management of the winery

Profile. Formerly a co-founder of All-In-Group GmbH, Marc brings entrepreneurial spirit, process clarity, and digital excellence to viticulture: scaling without loss of quality, clean data flows, and a direct line to the customer. This attitude shapes La Suite – from precise annual planning to the consistent focus on direct sales and the club.

Responsibility.

  • Strategy & Brand, Portfolio Management
  • Quality and cost control, reporting
  • Club & e-commerce, partner management

Guiding principle: Clarity in the process, tranquility in the glass.

Ellen Ruhland-Seidel – Owner & Artistic Director

Profile. A trained concert pianist, curator, and bridge-builder between music and wine, Ellen designs our cultural program – from concert organization to structuring wines to match your theme – translating musical structure into an elegant wine aesthetic.

Responsibility.

  • Music Curatorial Team & Events, Support for Young Talent
  • Brand image, tone of voice & visitor experience
  • Collaborations at the intersection of culture and wine

Guiding principle: When wine and music listen to each other, depth is created.

Bruno Jammy-Fonbeney – Head of Culture (Vineyard Manager)

Profile. Rooted in craftsmanship and agronomically sound: Bruno combines gentle soil cultivation, canopy management, and biodiversity with modern monitoring. The goal is vital vines, deep roots, and grapes with natural tension – the foundation for elegant wines.

Responsibility.

  • Pruning & cycle planning, canopy & water management
  • Plant protection with a sense of proportion, promotion of beneficial insects
  • Harvest logistics & grape quality in the vineyard

Guiding principle: The rhythm of the year is the beat of our quality.

Stéphane Apelbaum – winemaker (Direction Œnologique)

Profile. A precise stylist with a sense of finesse and balance. Thinks in terms of taste: grape ripeness rather than alcohol level, structure rather than effects, assemblage as composition. Semi-annual tasting cycles with an internal panel and external oenologists ensure drinkability and consistency.

Responsibility.

  • Harvest and ripening decisions, vinification of white, red, and rosé wines
  • Barrel and tank management, assembly
  • Sensory quality assurance & ripeness testing

Guiding principle: Like in a suite – sentences should be clear, and in the end everything must sound harmonious.

Mario Crespo – Finance & Administration

Profile. Structured, forward-thinking, service-oriented: Mario ensures that figures, processes, and supply chains run smoothly – from purchasing to customs/export, from price lists to club accounting. What is meticulously planned allows the wine the necessary time to mature.

Responsibility.

  • Budget & Controlling, Purchasing and Supplier Management
  • Compliance (e.g., organic/HVE), export formalities
  • Club and shop processes, invoicing

Guiding principle: Good organization is the silent voice accompanying great wines.

Jean Comet –

Vineyard work & machine maintenance

Dursun Unegin –

Animals, forest & green spaces

Yohan Marty –

Basement & Technology (Chai)

Profile. A practitioner with a refined sense: Yohan translates the winemaker's philosophy into daily decisions – reading fermentation curves, maintaining temperature ranges, remontage with feeling, barrel care with patience. Subtle interventions, meticulous work, clear results.

Responsibility.

  • Fermentation & Hygiene, Remontage/Pigeage
  • Tapping & clarification, barrel/tank management
  • Micro-oxygen & stability, technical audits

Guiding principle: Care in every movement – so that the wine can speak freely.

Mico Lechat –

Head of Snake Defense and Bowl Culture

Profile. After extensive travels around the world, Mico joined LaSuite at the tender age of four at his own request and has resided in our studio ever since – with a direct reporting line to the food bowl.
Musically, he prefers the Adagio (Brahms before sunrise), structures his power naps according to the 25-minute Pomodoro method, and is considered a certified expert in laser point tracking; cardboard bottles serve as mobile observation posts – and if a cork rolls anywhere, Mico is already on the job.

Responsibility.

  • Pest prevention & barrel protection: Audited field mouse-free conditions in the chai and around the wooden barrels.
  • Perimeter checks: Night and twilight rounds between vineyards and cellar.
  • Bowl culture & time tracking: Punctual feeding reminders
  • Security service “Rolling Cork”: Immediate deployment for rolling corks, ribbons and loose boxes.

Guiding principle: A quiet purr is the best noise-canceling.
